At the depth of my dread

Why? Beat down to ashes

Perfection ripped into shreds

A coward on overdrive

Who, in pure ignorance

Buried honour alive

When in your darkness

Only protecting your name

Treason, betrayal

Running from your dis-ease

Weak, unable

A life lived down on your knees

Blindly basking in the glow

Condemning those down below

I, battered and fallen

Mourning and aggravated

Cries of the lamented

Screaming into the night

You in your pretension

Ignorant of the cost

Through deep unawareness

Continue your self-destruction

Preserving a masquerade of mass hypocrisy

A kingdom falsely built with no humanity

Hopelessly wandering towards your own exile

Immersed in ignorance your words you have defiled

Reaching the terminus destroying what you've built

Without an ounce of shame or any sense of guilt

Abandoning your kin for temporary pleasure

Cyclical anguish lost in unspoken distress
