Wrapped up in denial

This divide grows stronger

Voices too proud to speak

Pride Gives way and lets in Separation

Am I self righteous, or just naive

to the difference I make

Naive to the thought that we can change

This lack of finality

Is all that I can see

So I ask myself: why force this facade?

Why can’t I learn to accept this moment?

What’s dead is done and what’s done is gone, forever
