as the moment fades,

they deceive and vanish,

their lack brings more pain

than solitude's craze,

than the cry of fate

ripping sinews, slowly splitting mind,

come, fiery demons,

love me,

embrace me,

crucified soul, feast of flesh,

come, childhood fears,

protect me,

conceal me.

all the ugliness caresses,

all that is dead beckons,

as the curtain will fall,

and every moment of suffering

is a midwife of new hope in me,

like the awakening elementary power,

like the cleansing acid rain
