There is a lake under water
Beneath the boiling sea
Miles below into darkness it lies
…Cold beyond belief
One look to its shimmering waters
May be fatal for consciousness
For it feeds on human nightmares
To increase its morbid strength
Invisible spirals of terror
Are reaching newborn silent stars
To absorb some kind of cosmic knowledge
That was hidden and sent afar
Etheral mysterious visions
Dissolved in an outer space
Yet unseen... but surely present
Soon to open its large embrace
Far from heaven’s light
So far from shore
Take a dive to creepy depth
Take a step beyond the door
All you’ll find there
Is a veil of fear
And bizarre emptiness within
Strangest images of a distant past
Are running before my very eyes
They're flashing up and fading fast
Leaving no time to wonder why
Images both dreadful and dear to me
Like a somber sleep without a wake
I have seen my hidden half
In reflection of the underwater lake
Aahh… Giant waves high above
Raging sculptures of water and foam…
But a slaves of tremendous power
Clouds… They are turning to black
Waves are playing with fragile boats
Of those who dares to sail
There are morbid fears and phobias
That survived in almost forgotten dreams
Now rest at the bottom
Underneath these freezing streams
But joys and all possible pleasures
Also subject to find down below in these halls
That lie under water
Temple of mind that has no walls
Its seems like lake is much deeper
Than the sea hiding it from the curious eyes
Where time moves backwards
And the images exist as disguise
Its hard to imagine the creatures
And the ancient chimeras that dwell underneath
These shimmering waters
Of the lake that seems to breathe
Far from heaven’s light
So far from shore
Take a dive to creepy depth
Take a step beyond the door
All you’ll find there
Is a veil of fear
And bizarre emptiness within
Aahh… Giant waves high above
Raging sculptures of water and foam…
But a slaves of tremendous power
Clouds… They are turning to black
Waves are playing with fragile boats
Of those who dares to sail
