In the dark you’ll see,

a fierce creature stalking me.

A sense of dread is all I can feel,

not knowing if the shadow is real.

Disappearing at the blink of an eye,

as if it is one with the night.

Feeling cold, to the spine, time is lost,

I’m dying while playing his game.

I am the cursed I am lost can’t you see.

Am I insane or is this meant to be.

Lost in the realm of a flickering haze.

Disappearing...

Falling down, out of breath, feel the cold,

sucking the life from my soul.

Dragging my body, grasping my belt.

Sensing the blade, wounds will be dealt.

Sudden attack, straight from above.

No time to act, slicing me up.

Unloading bowels, onto the ground,

Sensing the beast, not to be found.

Moment of truth, senses are strong.

Hazes have vanished, but something is wrong.

Looking down, seeing myself.
