The Prophet Failed pt.1: Confession Lyrics

I've outlasted those who came before me and those who've followed. I've breathed death into hopeful lives for no more than mere pleasure, for the sake of my masters and for glorious dishonor. But my actions are slight compared to the human invoked doom bred from the beginning of mankind. The incessant wicked births and perpetuating ignorance led to the evolution of a misguided planet. The needless toils fact-less beliefs and all the makings of Sin-Fire – the most unholy and inexhaustible fire to breathe from the dirt you walk on. For this I was sent to the undying lands from which I escaped. It was clear that with new blood and bones I was to bring hope to where I took it from, life to those I slaughtered and glory to the lands wrought with decay and disease. In assembling masses of lifeshells willing to accept that which they did not know I met an even greater challenge: the challenge of the Human Condition, an incurable fate tactlessly induced by the wicked gods onto weaker souls. Incomplete they are, so incompatible they are. So to all the creatures of this dying earth I apologize for not having the charisma to dissuade a fickle army of half-men. The only army I was issued for this task. This unthinkable task. This loathsome and futile death march into the blackest abyss our father nature claims.

The roots of my anger run deeper than the enemy was assigned. My roots permeate the electro-magnetic waters that out universes swim in. I fought to being unto thee salvation to the shackles of this thing you call life? Instead I was met with the simple good, the bane of the Human Condition, the false understanding that what seems true is true and for this false prophets stole my legion of human hopefuls leaving me with failure on these lands.

For there are greater perils than the exchanges of life and all it's permutations. For there are greater heights than the mountains you climb and greater depths than the oceans you swim. I speak of senses and comprehensions you lack the will to understand.

Lest it is not your fault. You are forever damned.
