A pillar stands high behind me

Keeps earth still, upholds the sky

Under her shade I clearly see

My old demons dance around:

The hours lost trying not to waste them

Intolerance for my faults

The fear for loss and suffering

That made my heart numb and cold

As the artifact keeps me safe

I embrace all my scars

I can travel through time

Face my past, welcome change

Live present without fear,

See future filled with hope

Whatever lies ahead

I’ll stay awake, reclaim my life

She’ll hold me up,

A pillar by her name,

Until I find my cornerstone back.
