Hail now, past the stor

The sublime beauty of the Cosmic Song

A silent, hidden force

Feeding on itself since the universe was born

A restless quiver laying in a planet’s heart

And in the blazing fire of a newborn sun

Then, like a sudden wave rising from the deep

It will make the worlds collide

The stars explode and turn to dust

Then the ashes would combine, you’d see them

Burning, growing, spinning, falling

Giving a new galaxy its life

Making every death a new beginning

While One, still it’s All

The immortal energy in a chain of mortal forms

Alive through the fall

The fiery Phoenix, seeking a new way to sing and soar

One last death may end it all

Maybe this will keep gyring on

Through change, in a restless game of rise and fall
