The black room had an odd feeling to it It wasn’t cold but nor was it warm Yet it still didn’t feel quite right Actually, it felt very wrong Black So black The black that surrounded us all It felt so thick and almost alive So black and so gloomy So morbid, so brutally black Black So black The room gave me a feeling It made me feel almost afraid Scared that the end was near Although nothing seemed like a thread Black So black This feeling that the room was emitting I felt like I was a part of this place As if the blackness of my own heart Was what gave the room its life
