´Twas December 1941
Red star troops and deadhead soldiers war.
Square-winged eagles flew against the tide.
Hammer-sickled ones back began to fight.
Pale white sun watched with apathy
Oh, this red-white colored agony.
Fearless, savage, ravenous and brave…
Now the silence reigns upon their grave.
Raging winter saw them all,
Someone rise and someone fall.
Those who were laid down to sleep,
Gave their souls for North to keep.
Clanking steel, warcries intertwined.
Ghosts approaching, warning from behind.
None´s the winner, everyone has bled.
Nothing´s left for them but their bodies to shed.
Raging frost buried them all.
Here they were all doomed to fall.
There´s no heaven and no hell.
In the blizzards now they dwell.
