Sleeping trees sway and groan

Snowcovers them all

Birds fall breathless

Embracing nothingness

Mirrors of lakes

Reflect the frostbitten sky

Derailed is the chariot of the golden sun

Hope dwindles in the eyes of the lost

Who can survive the fall of the universe?

Hellish winds freeze souls to ice

The time has come to face demise

Some are willing to quit

Some are willing to fight

Has never been easy to withstand doom
