Patience and time

To demolish innuendo and lies

Just hit the road that heals bitter memories

I’ve been thinking a lot

Of what I’ve become

Opportunities are gone

What a sad outcome

I’ve been strangling my fear

But it’s still alive

These inner demons are ruining my life

Bridges that link me with the past are burnt to dust

The future looks so obscure

But as long as I breathe I’m not doomed

I’m reborn spiritually

I’ll return

This winding road will take me home

To the roots

I belong to this road

I walk and I walk

And find rest

Rest for my soul and flesh
