Withering in torpid bliss

To perpetual sleep I am enslaved

Slipping into a stagnant dream

Screaming in silence

To the subconscious I must now remain

In paralysis I am all consumed

This deathlike tranquil state

In restless sleep I lie

In my sleep I die

In solemn embrace

I depart, yet this empty vessel remains

To rot in forsaken grace

Yearning to be released

No escape from this slumber of decease

Trapped in suspended animation

Entering the twilight darkness gates

Blind, with this awareness of my fate

Awaiting tribulation

To drift away languorously

The anticipation and sublime fears

To be forever bereft of light

Descending through the spheres

Through these moonlit fields, I now fall

The astral planes so far away

In dormancy I am interred

In somnus ego morior
