No respite from the rage of this conflagration

engulfing, unprejudiced indiscriminate.

Divesting all compassion and civility in the shadow cast by their destroyer;

doomed...

Dark herald of the finite boundary of a futile, waning existence.

Glinting of the last dying light, encroaching darkness takes its hold.

Regression, devolution - perverse propensities,

as reason gives way to unspeakable horrors.

Acceptable, permissable

loathsome commonalities cut from the most iniquitous cloth.

The frailties of sallow flesh, vulnerable, fragile

how easy it is to persuade the perpetration of such sickening acts.

Depraved machinations, a lecherous design for complete annihilation.

Amongst smoldering ruins of a war-torn aftermath of a dead-end civilization.

All against all, each for himself,

strangling one another out like weeds.

Superimposition of life and death,

reduced to mere autonamous shells.

Hunted through corridors of despair,

charred remains and silica swept away in bitter winds

Erasing this blight

Setting the hive ablaze

Abandoning life.
