What does it mean to be Human?

In the ideal world it would mean, a constant striving for peace, living in harmony with nature, protecting the environment, sharing and distributing all of earth's resources amongst one another.

No prejudice, no racism, just tolerance, total acceptance of other cultures and their ways of living.

Respecting all different perceptions of moral and values.

Having social equality as our highest goal.

Appreciating all kinds of art as being nourishment for the soul, listening to those who have something intelligent to say, instead of superficial meaningless nonsense.

Choosing visionary leaders and politicians, abolish all crime and violence.

Fair and impartial treatment of all individuals.

Honouring those who really makes a difference, paying respect to those who truly deserves it.

Having honesty and justice as our moral compass.

Worshipping truth and knowledge as the highest ideal.

But the World is not ideal...

People are enslaved by their religious guilt,

abusing faith for fortune,

suppressed by those in power,

those who controls and decides

what is truth, and what is not.

People will betray oneanother for envy,

honour or profit.

We are Selfcentered and superficial.

All advnced societies are permeated

by greed and selfishness.

Those who have will always want more.

In times of peace the warlike man attacks himself.

A tragic truth once said of human nature.

Parasites are what we are,

or like locusts consuming anything

that comes in our way,

forming an endless path

of annihilation and destruction.

We are abusing the environment,

raping our Mother Earth,

closing our eyes to what

we are leaving for our descendants.

Continuous wars of ideologies,

nationalism and Religion.

We are abstracting from the inevitable

disintegration of our Civilization.

Our Epitaph will be barren and desolate Landscapes.

This is what it means to be Human...
