The staircase will watch over us
As we descend
Into the glistening
Cellar and dance.
When the canopy opens and the sky falls downward
I will stand with my mouth open
And wait for the rain.
Somewhere in the ocean that rages and tears against my ribs;
My insides glowing red
It pierces and pulls.
There exists a familiar feeling,
When I lift the world:
My body is the fulcrum and the lever.
I watch the grains of sand in my palm turn to fire and burn holes in my hands.
My body is the fulcrum and the lever,
When I lift the world.
When I lift the world,
When I see my life:
This fountain of poison,
I drink from it's eyes.
When I lift the world.
Without god, without loss it's a vicious circle.
Does it feel good to lose me?
Do you feed on my pain?
Can I stop and breathe?
Can I become Holy?
And as quickly as it comes, it leaves:
And as quickly as he comes he leaves.
