conjured by percussive proclamations

An offering of flayed remains

eclipsed in an umbra of feral winged specters

The beat of the ritual drums

evoke a frenzied conflagration -

churning obsidian plumes

of the carrion angels

Pungent incense permeates the soul

and beckons the peregrine spirits

to break the body of its corporeal essence

and break the bond of the spirit, ego and flesh
