As I lay here alone I feel

Darkness absorb my being

Tortured by feelings of despair

Fear brings pain so deep

Drowning in torment, there is no light

To fill my rotted soul

Only specters of forgotten hate

Accompany my insanity

Soul embraced with dark depression

Through pain and sorrow, we exist

I scream in torment, amongst these

Deserted plains of spectral illusions

To the shadow

Insanity descends

I join without it

For my mourning forever shrouds

Staring at reflections of what I once was

A fool dwelling in a dream

Of spiritual bliss where I can no longer

Be haunted of this dark misery

I beg of Thee O Lord

Free me of this mockery

I dreamt for I can

No longer shed a tear
