With feelings disguised, it’s no wonder why we

can’t tell our dreams from what’s real.

There’s one thing I know, for our world to grow, we

must let our feelings reveal.

Turn “I” into “we”, and so peaceful it could be, in this

world I know nothing is free, but we can try all we can.

To break these walls through, Let’s be open and true, It’s

time we tried something new, for us to build bridges, not

walls

Prisoners of words, we choose to conceal, lonely hearts

throw their lives away

To me, it’s absurd, it’s our own live we steal, such a

deadly game to play.

It's burning inside of me, tearing me every day, I’d like to

just let it be, but we’re so close, yet, so far away.

From where we should be, too much distance can fray,

our connections to reality, but in time we can change

Look to the suns as it falls, out like a flame, don’t do the same.

Not just to one, but to all, necessity calls, let’s build bridges,

not… walls.

Soldiers of pain, at war with ourselves, and we don’t even

question why?

Drowning in shame, we’re killing ourselves, oh, it’s gone

too far to deny.

Open your heart and see, the feelings you’ve wasted away,

these endless technicalities, spin the wheel of life we play.

As should always be, open your mind, don’t betray,

there’s others who believe in you, cause in time we can

change.
