Lying Awake, afraid to fall back to sleep

For in my dreamstate, horrifying images

In these nighmares, what do they mean?

Bodily devourment, what am I seeing?

Torn flesh ripped apart, human life consumed

Bones and blood are scattered, my own bodies in pieces

Cold sweat, wake in fright, sleepless nights

Heart pounds, I don't know what they mean - NIGHMARES

I can't see my arms, where are my legs?

They're lying on the ground, right before my very eyes

In a pool of blood, something's consuming me

Vicious teeth bloodthirsty sharp, tears my flesh to shreds

Every time I try to sleep, disturbing images

I have the same nightmare, what am I remembering?

Dying - bleeding - bodies - seething
