Turn back the pages of time, take a step through the sands of time

The time machine is in our ship, it seems to be functioning

Quantum flux lit, compatible, awaiting coordination

We think about a week has passed since the moment of cataclysm

Try to set it early enough to move the asteroid away

They're just about done with the tractor set, it's awaiting activation

Now it's time to make the trip to travel back to the past

But I can't shake the feeling that we have forgotten something

The asteroid was not the only source of devastation

Could it be that the black hole has erased some of our memoris

Or is it just my sanity, am I losing it for sure?

Traveling through space and time to stop the cataclysm

We'll be among our kind again, walk among the Earth

Soon it will all be over, it'll be just like a dream

We're going home where we belong, we're going back in time

What else could there have been, what could I be dreading

As the time-ship moves, I question it, this overwhelming feeling

That the asteroid was not the only thing to be afraid of

We accelerate while everything seems to become brighter

Seeing strange flashes of blinding light, so fast our stomachs our dropping

It feels like our souls are trying to escape from our bodies

Transcending to a new realm where space and time are colliding

Turn back the pages of time, take a step through the sands of time

We're knocked out as the time-ship nears it's final destination

We'll be back in normal space when we re-awaken

Then it all comes flooding back as I enter into dreamstate

Visions of the beast's rampage as he dovours it all

The only thing that could kill the beast was the asteroid

But we're going back to re-direct it away from from the Earth

Traveling through space and time to stop the cataclysm

We'll be among our kind again, walk among the Earth

But as we enter dreamstate while in the passages of time

Nighmares of the beast come flooding back to me
