While wondering through the trees

She called my name with her ancient song

Lulling the anxiety

I became immersed in the thrall

She led me through the forest

Deep within her keep

The guardians of this ancient realm

Spoke these words to me

BEWARE!

Mankind shall not set foot in here

The organic temple of the holy grove

Sanctuary of the guardians

The temple held a jewel

Of a fascinating glow

By its presence I was lured

And in the night the jewel I stole

In that very moment

The guardians awakened from their sleep

Taking the form of an obscure beast

They spoke these words to me

You foolish man, thought you could get away

Taking the jewel was a grave mistake

As punishment for your wretched soul

You’ll become a beast and this land you shall roam

The transformation has begun

And the pain I cannot bare

My bones twist and form

And I smell blood in the air

My hunger grows inside

As this curse now takes its toll

My conscious slips away

As I begin to lose control
