Slowly he climbed out

of the deep lying fields of sleep

knowing his night has come

got to his feet for his last journey

Total silence, only his steps in the shimmering snow

it took him not long to get to his forest

where everything had been prepared so long ago

among these witnesses of time he felt strong- stronger than ever

Finally he arrived at his oak

everything was clear now

put the robe around his neck- no looking back anymore
