Your grasp for release is shortly forgotten

By the people who you thought cared for you

Your cries for help show signs of weakness

Your cries for acceptance is that someone in despair

The flame that burns inside the thing that's been keeping you going

There you hide in your corner like a weeping child

Afraid of what's to come afraid to take that first step

So you stay numb wake up for it's a new day a chance to make up

For the last nothing is given so you must take it

Leave your blame and burden in the past and open up your eyes

For love and happiness are not too far away
