As far as my eyes can see

And as my heart can feel

There are just little fragments of time

Dividing themselves as each breath

As the alpha and the omega

Opposing and responding to each other

Like two primordial forces in the depths of our inner cathedrals

Because I know that I would snatch my heart from my chest

And put it full of blood and still beating on the golden scales

I saw this radiant firmament that shines behind the light of the sun

But why am I a prisoner of this carnal jail?
