In a deep sleep

Bringing us reason

And immersing us in the shadow of doubt

Doubt that threatens the obedient thinking

Confusing visions within dreams,

Fears that turn to abominations

When they are away from the light

Ambiguity is produced

Maybe monsters below dark

By being summoned into the light

turn not to be abominations

THE DREAM OF REASON CREATES ABOMINATIONS

Whenever the way is illuminated

A darker side is born

And that Will create more monsters

Hallucinations and abominations

Only what’s dark and unknown

Recalls curiosity and pleasure

Reason, logic and what’s great, Will help to banish

superstitions, ignorance and mistakes
