Cloaked in black with veils of envy,

Beholden to malice and deceit

Brimming with contempt,

This one has come with nefarious intentions

To cast away the light,

Steal the stone

And bury it deep.

Eyes of fire burn with hatred,

Threatening The One from the safe and sacred

Shadows of a bleeding sun.

A crystal pool lies between the two.

Serene as glass,

Reflecting back,

What once was me now is you.

The Mirror holds the truth,

The one most feared lies within;

What once was two is whole again.

Look into the mirror;

What does one see?

Beyond the self the demons that be.
