It fell from the sky

A starless night

Death and secrets, within

Seeped in the soil

Tainted the land

Infecting all with it's touch

Harvest turned black

Withered and weak

A sickly glow in the land

Putrid and stale

Liquid of life

Fetid ichor, divine
