Memories from our past

Hoping that the pain will end at last

It only seems a moment ago

I heard you laugh so clear

I turn around to find there's no one here

Last snows of winter fall

They hide your footsteps from our door

And I just break down crying

Suddenly you're taken from me

And I’m lost without you now

Trying to find a way

To make it through the days somehow

Echoes from an empty room

We filled with hopes and schemes

All remain unopened endless dreams

I hear you in the summer breeze

You're the warmth of the sun

The ocean waves forever rolling on

Still pray for the reason why you had to die

The anger wells inside

And I just can't stop crying

Suddenly you're taken from me

And I’m lost without you now

Trying to find a way

It's so hard to carry on

But I know I must be strong

The love I shared with you
