VI. The beasts

a great wonder in heaven appeared, a woman clothed with the sun

and the moon under her feet and upon her head a crown of twelve stars

and she being with child cried travailing in birth and pained to be delivered

and she brought forth a man child to rule with a rod of iron

"When will come salvation and the kingdom of our God

and strength and the power of his Christ?

For the accuser of our brethren must be cast down."

and there was war in heaven, behold a great red dragon

having seven heads, ten horns and seven crowns upon his heads

he and his angels prevailed not, the man child was caught up unto God

and they were cast out into the earth

"Now is come salvation and the kingdom of our God

and strength and the power of his Christ?

For the accuser of our brethren is cast down."

he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond

to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads

no man might buy or sell save he that had the mark

or the name of the beast or the number of his name, 666
