As consciousness returns I'm jolted from this eternal slumber

Unsure of the present where and when, my body shakes and black is all I see

A flood of memories, the torrent of emotions are too much to contain within

My mind begins to tremble, where the hell am I?

Fear for what's to come

As visions fade away

The darkness that was once inside

Surrounds me like an endless void

Fearing the spider that creeps its prey, I'm trapped within its eternal web

Stalked and teased, poked and prodded, I'm lost at sea

Can not get out

I'm out of the pan and into the fire

I trade one nightmare for another

An aphotic life of ambiguous distortions

Causes senses to falter as if stuck in a typhlotic trance

Visions that were once so clear begin to slip away

Through the cracks of a fragmenting mind

I franticly claw at the memories that I have left

Remembering faces, remembering places

Of fearful eyes that were raw with despair

And argent skin with malignant scarlet reflections

The way down: No way out

Mind bound: Restrained and confined

Alone: There is nowhere

To Go: Lost at sea

Twisted thoughts: Invasive

A sure memory of two //knife in hand// Twisted thoughts with dark intentions

I try to climb from the depths, to break free of the void and find the shore

I fight with all my being, to survive the monsters that would have me drown
