The Veteran is a song about reflections of war, on individual and collective levels.

Inspired by documentaries and stories of people who had to face the horrors.

Its also a song about the legacy of veterans, those who were sent to the frontlines, those who never came back and those who returned traumatized and struggling through life with the experiences they had in the battlefields.

The meaning behind this song is not glorify war in any sense, more likely to wake people think, remember the roots in some level. Its concept is also based on theme of Finland reaching 100 years as a nation and its history, and therefor a tribute to veterans .
