We sacrifice the sow

The lamb, and the bull

She'll bring us a feast

For every day of the year

She'll bring us light

For every call we hear

The Goddess shines upon us

And holds us in her arms

She'll bring us delights

In the ritual no one sees

Her fires vanquish night

Bringing Dawn again and again

She is the bringer of light

She is the reason we fight

Her body reckons the day

She is the reason we stay

Daughter of Saturn, sister of Vesta.

A basket of fruit, a garland of corn,

And her loving scepter.
