Long to crack the arc

Trapped inside my flesh

She birthed the secret

I need to see them

To know what they are for

I hear the wings beat

HUNGER GNAWS

Spare me your wrong and your right

Still you can look me in the eye

And plead your case?

I stood in the goddess’s sight

Absent in faith

And listened to drones in the sky

To the music they made

I watched and I witnessed the might

Of the unnumbered waves

As they fell like a rain of scythes

To reap and to waste

I still see their feast in my mind

Their hunger, the pain

No truth but the jaws of the hive

And burning rage

I eat my skin

Reject this form

Swallowed by my hate

My flesh, their writhing gate
