I open my eyes

And soon realise

I sense that I am falling down

Darkness I see

What has happened to me?

Memories of my past life gone

And I fall into black

No turning back

As I push into the unknown fire

In the distance I see

Ground is rushing at me

Preparing for the impact

All I feel is sadness and pain

All I hear are screams in the flames

Who am I? Can’t remember my name

Will I ever see the sunshine again?

Cold

I’m chilled to the bone

And I feel so alone

The fires burn as cold as ice

Flows black through my veins

As I walk through the flames

This road is never ending, long

And the journey goes on

It’s feeling so wrong

Contradicting lack of sense

A world upside down

And a terrible sound

A thousand tortured souls

Are screaming

All I feel is sadness and pain

All I hear are screams in the flames

Who am I? Can’t remember my name

Will I ever see the sunshine again?

Lost

In a land so confused

Every path that I choose

Returns me to the starting point

In a world full of fears

Feel I’m walking for years

Yet I know it’s but a moment passed

No conception of time

Without reason or rhyme

Trapped here for eternity

Between heaven and hell

Where the fallen ones dwell

And await their fate

And final judgement

All I feel is sadness and pain

All I hear are screams in the flames
