I came here with my father

away but forward into abyss

to become the man I will be

seated as sun at dusk

in a cave as a boy

Loose leather flagged on my body

dark water fed me, but

No sign from beyond the thunderbird

nothing of my fate

My legs collapsed, my arms bent

but my throat opened

called out a deep longing

out of the cave

into the abyss

A great animal's breath

shifted the sky, the clouds blackened

northern wind like bears and lions

A blazing arrow set them all on fire

I am the Flame

I am the Son.
