dusk was getting closer

i sat upon a cliff and remembered

my glorious days that had gone

and tears dropped down to the ground

I silently remained there

staring at the sea for ages it seemed

despite the stiff breeze

that was whiping my face

as if waiting

for something or someone to come

as if expecting

a divine manifestation  to occur

then in the misty distance of the sea

appeared a silhouette draped in white

standing erect in a ship

slowly sailing to the shore

I knew I was to meet my fate

this very night. This moonless night

I heard of stories of heroes gone

to the land beyond across the sea

So I stood up to face death

without a word

the faceless being got me on board

and without looking back

we sailed away

an initiatic journey

to the highest spheres began

I prepared my soul

for the last sacrifice

for my own sacrifice

when we were in view

of my final sanctuary

ecstasy was entrancing my senses

I performed the last step

of supreme initiation

I have reached supremacy

over human life

and become part of divinity

the essence of my splendour

was the never-fading memory of Thule

of the pagan grail

for eternity will I dwell

in the realm of the ever-shining sun
