Black

blackened was the sky

as the night awoke

embers

gloomy embers in the night

Torches

thousands of miles away

emblazoning the firmament

gathered to guide my path

Embers

like the stars above

torches

torches of the nightsoul

Blazon

blazon of the night

the blackened sky

pierced by the moon and stars
