In my suffering I rot

I find myself running from my present

In my past I only find melancholy

Only death guides me aimlessly

My sins are what guide the way

Towards a useless desire for hope

My eyes reflect a deep pain

I feel invisible like a ghost

Hated and feared before my fate

Loved and now forgotten before people

Desolate and lost on my way

Alone and rotten before my feelings

Wrinkles of sadness, a dark memory,

Homeless, friendless, I am without anything,

Only with my shadow, I wander adrift,

Only with my fall, I navigate through suffering.

In every step, a tear shed,

In every sigh, a hope extinguished.

The city lights up, indifferent,

To their pain, to their aching soul.
