The fans have been waiting for it! Krokus are to release a live record of last year's European tour in the form of a double album entitled 'Fire and Gasoline'. A bonus DVD contains the most significant recordings of their exemplary 25-year career, as well as the hits from their previous album, 'Rock The Block'.

Last year Krokus celebrated a phenomenal comeback with the studio-produced album, 'Rock The Block'. In no time at all, their album brought the Solothurn based hard rock legends a number one as well as a platinum disc. The live, double album 'Fire And Gasoline', recorded last summer in Sweden as well as in Switzerland (Herisau, Zuchwil and Zurich), is proof that the power group's true calling is based around Fernando von Arb and Marc Storace's performances up on stage. Alongside gems from 'Rock The Block', the double CD naturally also features the greatest hits from a career which has spanned over nearly three decades, something which is frankly sensational - and such an opinion spans far beyond the borders of Switzerland. 'Fire And Gasoline' was again produced by Patrick Aeby and Dominique Favez, Fernando von Arb appears as co-producer. As a tasty extra, the DVD contains clips of their performance in Montreux and includes some tracks from the open air concert in Wohlen. It's a guaranteed feast for your eyes and ears!

Krokus fans have got something else to celebrate too: On 19th January Reto Carduff's documentary film about hard rock legends Krokus, is to be celebrated for the first time at Solothurn's 2004 film festival. The Swiss Television Channel SF DRS are due to broadcast it shortly afterwards, and the documentary will be released on DVD at a later date by Warner Music.

And towards at the end of a fantastic year, Krokus are planning their 2004 American tour. On the agenda is a return to that great Rock 'n Roll country, where our hard-rockers from the foothills of the South Jura mountains were able to celebrate their greatest triumphs and sold the majority of their 10 million plus records - which in turn led to Krokus securing the title of Switzerland's all time most successful rock band. Before America though, February's programme sees a galloping warm-up tour with concerts throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Krokus have left their mark on rock history with albums such as 'Metal Rendezvous', 'Headhunter', and 'Hardware' as well as immortal heavy hits such as 'Heatstrokes', 'Tokyo Nights', 'Long Stick Goes Boom' and 'Bedside Radio' - hits which are of course included on the live CV/DVD 'Fire And Gasoline'.

But the future also promises more excitement. After all, Marc Storace, Fernando von Arb, Patrick Aeby, Dominique Favez and Tony Castell have got plenty of time to catch up on some rest later on! Firstly, uncompromising live power in the form of 'Fire And Gasoline' is on its way. Von Arb's catchy rock riffs, together with the Storace's creepy voice. The combination is today as unbeatable as it was two decades ago, when Krokus taught their hard rock rivals what fear really was.
