Formed in 1994 at the dawn of the "nu-metal" era, Vessels Of Wrath, or, as the acronym would have it, V.O.W., have since strived to bring the world a different sort of reality, blending old-school rock and classical Baroque influences with the newer elements of techno and industrial. The occasional sprinkling of death and black metal makes an appearance every now and again, as well as opera, goth, thrash and hardcore. It all blends seamlessly to create a musical experience like no other; music so diverse it cannot be easily thrown into an existing genre, though the elements are familiar enough not to come off convoluted or "artsy". This is NOT a prog-rock band, this is simply Rock and Roll's natural evolution. Be it the theatric, diverse vocal stylings of singer Matt Yeager, the unconventional albeit astounding skin-beating of drummer Bryan Upton, the slick and thunderous bass of Caleb Schoeppe, the blistering fingers and head-cracking intensity of guitarist Geno, or the atmosphere, beauty and power of Daniel McCabe's keyboards, sequences and synth arrangements, Vessels of Wrath has something for any real fan of music. Vessels Of Wrath now reside in Tempe, AZ after moving from Rogers, Arkansas.
