Blood Drunk Bio

Blood Drunk formed from the ashes of Domestic Violence in November of 2007 in Durham North Carolina. With the departure of Bassist Mike Doonan and Guitarist Justin “Turtle” Wolz from Domestic Violence, the remaining members decided a name change was in order and Blood Drunk was born.

Blood Drunk headed to Osceola Studio in Raleigh North Carolina, with Dick Hodgin ( Confessor, Corrosion Of Conformity ) at the helm, to record their debut five song EP entitled ...and the VIOLENCE continues. With the completion of ...and the VIOLENCE continues, Blood Drunk are going to release the EP digitally on their own.

Blood Drunk will spend the summer and fall of 2008, bringing their style hardcore thrash metal straight out of Dixie with all guns blazing. With an energetic live show, that will leave you feeling violated and wanting more.

In November of 2008 Blood Drunk will head back into the studio to record the follow up to ...and the VIOLENCE continues. This time Blood Drunk will head to The Basement Recording Studio in Winston - Salem North Carolina, with the extraordinary metal producer Jamie King ( Between The Buried And Me, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, Tribunal Records ) at the controls.
