Axed Ministers Bio

December 1999 was not the first time the axedministers had performed to the gig goers in Singapore but it was a significant one as the band convinced themselves to showcase its own works. The review for the ministers as a new band in the metal scene was positive and since then, the ministers have been receiving generous invitations to highlight in Singapore's music scene until today. After 6 years of unpredictability, the ministers have now grown into a full fledge 5 piece original band famous for its hellish guitar works of Azrin, the choreographed guitar duets of both guitarists and the charismatic emotional vocalist, Yusuf.

To date, the ministers still performs regularly to small and medium sized gigs and have released a CD demo in 2000 and a single track contribution in Singapore band Urbankarma's debut album. That track, Now Its My Turn was an instant hit with listeners and reviewers and had given the ministers the impetus to continue writing more originals.
