MOWER FRONTMAN TO RUN IN ROCK N' ROLL MARATHON FOR LEUKEMIA SOCIETY
Brian Sheerin, frontman for Suburban Noize Records Mower, has announced he is preparing to run the 2007 Rock N' Roll Marathon June 3rd, 2007 in San Diego, CA. Brian is currently in training with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team and will be participating in the endurance event to raise funds to help stop leukemia and lymphoma from taking lives.
"Every year I consider helping out and then recording, a tour or apathy prevents me." Sheerin explains, "This year I decided to get involved, and I'll have to deal with tours and recording the best that I can to make it work."
"Brian has brought great energy to the Team in Training organization"
says Team In Training Mentor, Joe Cheverie. "His dedication to fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has been evident from
his first day with our team. I have no doubt that Brian will find his
way to the finish line."
Sheerin is urging fans to pledge donations in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and has since set up the following donation page asking fans to donate anywhere from $1 and above:

Mower's Dominic Moscatello, says, "I'm happy to see that Brian is up to the challenge of running a marathon. I'm sure that our fans will be supportive and rise to the occasion because of the importance of this event. My family has a history of cancer-related illness including leukemia and lymphoma. Brian has Mower's full support and this is one of the coolest events he has ever attempted."
Sheerin notes, "A lot of Mower's fans are young people that are caught up in the excitement of life and may not focus much on altruism. I want to motivate myself and others to think beyond ourselves, and action is the best way to do that."
Mower's new album "Not For You" has been receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike. The album was called "The Best Metal Album of 2006" by Radio Aggression and nominated for two San Diego Music Awards in the "Best Hard Rock" and "Best Hard Rock Album" categories. The band's video for the song "Road Rage" has also received spins on MTV's Headbanger's Ball, MANIA TV and a variety of others. The album's second single, "Broken Hands", will be going to radio in early March 2007.
"It's always great when artists get involved in a good cause. We know how important this is to Brian and the Mower camp. And it's great to see an artist put the time into a cause they have a personal connection to,"
says Kevin Zinger of Suburban Noize Records.
