Symphonic metal band Leaves’ Eyes launches a new music video ahead of their upcoming EP release.
Leaves’ Eyes, a band known for their blend of symphonic and Viking metal, has debuted the official music video for their single ‘‘Song Of Darkness,’’ which also serves as the title track of their forthcoming EP scheduled for release on March 6 through Reigning Phoenix Music. The song and video explore contrasting themes of darkness and light, weaving a narrative of mystical elements, tragic love, and inner conflict inspired by medieval Icelandic sagas. The band combines orchestral arrangements with heavy metal riffs, highlighting their signature style that balances grandeur with emotional depth, supported by the commanding vocals of Elina Siirala and growls from Alexander Krull.
Having established themselves over two decades, Leaves’ Eyes continues to evolve under Krull's production, enhancing their fusion of classical precision and metal intensity on this new record. Recorded at Mastersound Studio, the EP expands on themes of myth, magic, and historical storytelling, offering a cinematic yet personal experience.
