Dieth Rages On: A New Era with Fireflash Records and a Brutal Lineup Shift
In a seismic shift that has sent shockwaves through the metal community, Dieth, the relentless death and thrash metal band, has officially severed ties with former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson. This bold move comes hand in hand with the announcement of their signing to Fireflash Records, setting the stage for a new era that promises to be as explosive as the band's music itself.
Vocalist and guitarist Guilherme Miranda expressed his fervor for this new chapter, stating, “This feels like the right home for us, as they share our vision of where we can take the band. We’ve poured our heart and soul into this new music, and I honestly couldn’t be more excited about what we have in store. New line-up, new music, new album – this is just the beginning.” The anticipation is palpable as Dieth prepares to unleash their next sonic onslaught.
Joining the ranks of Dieth is Swedish bassist Tobias Cristiansson, whose pedigree includes stints with Grave, Necrophobic, and the legendary Dismember. Miranda couldn't hide his excitement, declaring, “It’s a pleasure to welcome my longtime friend Tobias to Dieth. His history speaks for itself, and he fits perfectly with what we’re building. I’m beyond happy and honoured to have him with us for this new chapter.”
As the band gears up to introduce this new lineup, they are also ready to drop their latest single, “Pound Of Flesh,” on October 16. Described as one of their most brutal offerings to date, this track promises to serve as a terrifying introduction to Dieth’s fresh soundscape. Miranda emphasized the intensity of the song, stating, “‘Pound Of Flesh’ is brutal, and that’s exactly what I wanted this song to be. Musically and lyrically, it’s one of my favourite things we’ve done.”
With a new album and a vicious video on the horizon, Dieth is on the brink of a monumental resurgence in the metal scene. Prepare yourselves, metalheads, because what’s coming next is bound to be a brutal awakening.
