The legendary duo unleashes a raw and powerful new single, setting the stage for their upcoming album and world tour.

Fifteen years deep into their rock odyssey, Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators, or SMKC for the die-hards, have unleashed their latest sonic missile with the single and music video for 'Flying Blind'. This electrifying anthem marks the dawn of a new era, as it serves as the titular track for their highly-anticipated fifth studio offering, 'Flying Blind', set to drop on February 26, 2027, via Gibson Records.

Recorded predominantly live under the watchful eye of veteran producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette at the infamous Studio Barbarosa in Florida, this 12-track beast captures the raw essence of rock. With Slash shredding on guitar and pedal steel, Myles Kennedy belting out those signature vocals, and the powerhouse trio of Todd Kerns (bass), Brent Fitz (drums), and Frank Sidoris (rhythm guitar), the band has locked into a visceral, instinctive groove. In a whirlwind week, they hammered out the album, often laying down two tracks a day while sharing the same space—a true testament to their chemistry.

“It’s a really fun, kind of spontaneous rock ’n’ roll record,” Slash asserts, giving fans a taste of the album's unfiltered energy. “It’s very straightforward and down-to-earth and raw.” The first taste of this raw energy comes through the track 'Flying Blind', which was conjured up during pre-production when Slash kicked off a jam with an electrifying riff that exploded into life, showcasing the unmistakable hard-rock drive and soaring melodies that SMKC are renowned for.

Myles Kennedy dives into the lyrical content, revealing that the song reflects on humanity's tendency to chase shortcuts in pursuit of happiness. “I really enjoyed putting a melody to this song,” he shares. “The chord progression flows beautifully, and the lyrics delve into how people often seek the easy way out.”

But that's not all folks. SMKC is gearing up to hit the road with the 'Flying Blind World Tour 2027', kicking off in Latin America before storming into North America on April 23. Fans can expect a barrage of live performances in iconic venues, including two nights at The Wiltern in Los Angeles and a stop at New York City’s Beacon Theatre. The anticipation is palpable, with ticket sales launching on October 9 at SlashOnline.com.

In a nod to their fans, SMKC has partnered with Fandiem for a charitable sweepstakes, offering a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Cardiff Castle to meet Slash backstage—while supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the National Alliance on Mental Illness. This is your shot to not only rock out but also contribute to a vital cause. So, get ready to fly blind into 2027 with Slash and Myles as they redefine rock once again!
