NEUROSIS Unleashes a Sonic Inferno with New Tour Dates

The legendary post-metal pioneers continue their relentless assault with a slew of live performances into 2027.

In a move that sends shockwaves through the metal underground, NEUROSIS—the titans of atmospheric heaviness—have announced a series of new live dates in support of their monumental album, "An Undying Love For A Burning World." The Oakland-based juggernaut isn't just treading water; they’re forging ahead, with performances booked through the end of this year and all the way into 2027.

The band will kick off their tour with two sold-out shows at The Fillmore in San Francisco on October 16 and 17, before bringing their thunderous sound to Brooklyn’s Warsaw on October 30 and 31. November sees them invading Chicago for two nights at the Metro on the 21st and 22nd, followed by shows in Portland and Seattle, leading up to a set at CONVERGE's Saddest Day in Boston on December 12. Mark your calendars, as NEUROSIS will close out the year with a performance in Los Angeles on January 2, 2027, before hitting the Roadburn festival in the Netherlands that April.

As anticipation builds, general ticket sales for these new dates will launch this Friday, September 11 at 10 a.m. local time. With both San Francisco shows already sold out, the demand for NEUROSIS's live experience is palpable. In a recent chat with The Vinyl Guide podcast, NEUROSIS frontman Steve Von Till dove deep into the creative resurrection that led to the release of their first album in a decade. “An Undying Love For A Burning World,” released in March 2026 via Neurot Recordings, marks a significant evolution for the band, now featuring the formidable Aaron Turner of SUMAC and ISIS fame, who seamlessly integrates into the NEUROSIS legacy.

Reflecting on the tumultuous past that saw the departure of co-founder Scott Kelly, Von Till revealed that the band had to navigate through a sea of uncertainty before finding their footing again. “We missed each other. We missed making sounds,” he said, recounting how the remaining members reconnected and reignited their creative fires. The addition of Turner helped complete the puzzle, allowing the band to forge a path forward without the baggage of their past. Von Till’s insights highlight a newfound clarity and purpose, underscoring NEUROSIS’s enduring relevance in a world that often feels lost amid chaos.
