Foreigner Unleashes 'Head Games' Remaster: The Classic Rock Experience Reimagined

Foreigner isn't just resting on its laurels as they celebrate five decades of rock dominance. Following the roaring success of last year's Deluxe Edition of their iconic album '4', the legendary band is primed to unleash a newly remixed and remastered edition of 'Head Games', their multi-platinum third studio album that first struck the airwaves in 1979. Mark your calendars for October 30, when this sonic treasure will hit the shelves on CD/Blu-ray and black vinyl.

But that’s not all. To whet your appetite, the band has unveiled a hidden gem: the unreleased track “Trouble” is now available for streaming, bringing a rush of nostalgia and excitement as we revisit the raw energy of Foreigner's golden era.

Helmed by bassist Jeff Pilson and longtime collaborator Wyn Davis, this newly minted collection shines a light on the band’s timeless hits like “Dirty White Boy” and the anthemic title track “Head Games.” Moreover, a new essay by esteemed music journalist Ken Sharp provides fans with an insider's view on the creation of this iconic album, making it a must-have for any rock aficionado.

Originally, 'Head Games' marked the debut of bassist Rick Wills and the last hurrah for founding members Ian McDonald and Al Greenwood. It also holds the distinction of being the final album to feature Mick Jones on lead vocals. The Super Deluxe CD/Blu-ray edition offers a thrilling reimagining of the original 10-track album along with a treasure trove of outtakes and alternate versions that pull back the curtain on the band’s creative process during these pivotal recording sessions.
