Originally a haunting, piano-driven lament about isolation, the remix infuses a fresh groove, crafted by the talented Nick Sheldon of BLACKHILL fame, making it a perfect anthem for the club scene.

Lead vocalist Skin delves into the essence of 'Meltdown', stating, "It's one of the few SKUNK songs that doesn't have a beat, making it a hauntingly beautiful closer for the album. We wanted to rework it into something that resonates on the dancefloor, and Nick delivered exactly what we envisioned." This collaboration has birthed a version that juxtaposes the melancholic lyrics with an upbeat, celebratory sound, destined to echo in clubs from New York to Ibiza.

The new remix was released on Juneteenth, a date steeped in significance, marking the emancipation of black Americans.
